Fake Facebook Photo-Tagging Notifications Hide Malware
On Tuesday, Sophos reported a new spam campaign disguising itself as a notification from Facebook, saying you've been tagged in a photo. Once you click on the link directing you to the photo, however, your Web browser is taken to a malicious iFrame script that starts running the Blackhole exploit kit. Blackhole essentially opens a backdoor to your PC for more malware.
What makes this campaign even trickier is that within four seconds, your browser suddenly loads a legit-looking Facebook profile so you don't have time to figure out something just went terribly wrong.
Lessons learned:
1. Always hover your mouse over a link before clicking on it, to make sure you're not being led somewhere else.
2. Check "official" emails for spelling mistakes.

YouTube Asks Users to Post Real Names in Bid to Clean Up Comments
YouTube Asks Users to Post Real Names in Bid to Clean Up Comments | PCWorld
After the "start using your full name" box appears, you can refuse to start using your real name. If you do that, another pop up appears asking you to justify your decision. Choices offered by Google include:
My channel is for show or character.
My channel is for a music artist of group.
My channel is for a product, business or organization.
My channel is well-known for other reasons.
My channel is for personal use, but I cannot use my real name.
I'm not sure, I'll decide later.
When a YouTube user now tries to comment on a video, a box pops up asking that person to start using their "full name" at the video sharing site. The "full name" is taken from the person’s Google+ account since Google requires the real name of someone signing up for a Google+ account.

Meanwhile, as detailed last month, Facebook will now let admins schedule a post to publish any time between 10 minutes and six months from the time of its creation. The change could put added pressure on third-party apps like HootSuite, which allow timed posting.
Facebook also announced the introduction of specific permissions for third-party apps often used for Page content creation, moderation, engagement, or ad creation.
Facebook will now allow administrators to create posts that don't show up on a Page's Timeline. This includes sponsored posts, which often contains information that is only relevant to a certain portion of the brand's demographic (50 percent off women's shoes in Bay Area stores, for example). With unpublished page posts, posts will only appear on the right-hand column, not in the newsfeed.
